Flying visitors..

Plans of mice and men...

My brother David and sister-in-law Denise were due to visit us yesterday, their first sight of Yarwood, and we had arranged for pleasant cruise up the River Little Ouse to Brandon Lock.   This would have involved a bit of car shuffling to ensure that our visitors could get back to Bressingham in time to welcome their guests to their B&B.
As it happened they didn't get to us until after midday so the cruise up the creek was abandoned in favour of a pint at The Ship and a quick trip to Littleport and back.   We arrived back at The Ship moorings at 3pm and found a precarious mooring to off load our guests for their flying trip home.

Next time hopefully they will have more time to relax and chill and see some of the more attractive stretches of river hereabouts
